The supplied service includes a free survey and a fixed written quote for the agreed work. The online calculator is an estimate; additional work or a changed specification must be agreed separately.
The supplied service information says most domestic jobs do not require a deposit. Your written quote will confirm the payment schedule and any exceptions, such as special-order materials or a larger project.
The published pricing examples include VAT, labour, paint and materials as described on the Pricing page. Your written quote should itemise the agreed scope and total, including any separately quoted access or additional work.
Before we start
Please clear small items, valuables and fragile belongings before we arrive. Discuss larger furniture during the survey so we can agree what can be moved or protected and keep the working area accessible.
Availability depends on the size of the job, location and current schedule. Share your preferred dates when requesting a quote; we will confirm a start date after the scope and quote are agreed.
You do not need to stay in every room while work is underway. Agree access, keys, alarm arrangements and a contact number in advance, and plan a suitable time for the final walk-round.
During the job
Odour varies by coating and application method. We explain the proposed products, ventilation and any temporary restrictions before work starts. Tell us about sensitivities so these can be considered when planning the job.
The described service includes daily tidying and a final cleanup. We agree where tools and materials are stored and how working areas are left between visits, while respecting any drying or access restrictions.
Drying, recoating and full curing are different stages. Timing depends on the product, temperature, ventilation and surface. Follow the coating manufacturer’s instructions and the project aftercare advice before cleaning or placing furniture against painted surfaces.
Guarantee & aftercare
Our reference service includes a two-year workmanship guarantee. It covers the workmanship described in the written guarantee; the terms and exclusions are set out on the Our Guarantee page and in your project documents. Keep those documents and contact us with photos if a concern arises.
Ask at the final walk-round about usable leftover paint and the colour record. Keep containers labelled with the brand, colour and finish and store them according to the manufacturer’s instructions for future touch-ups.
